Eventually there will be a concrete porch. The brick layers came
on Friday, Nov. 14th and placed the darker upright bricks around the edge
of the porch.

This is the side of the front porch. A laundry room will be built
in on the back part of the porch and connect to the master bedroom.
The hot water heater will also be moved out here. All the electricity
and water connections are in place as well as a drain in the floor incase
the washer or water heater breaks.

In this photo and the previous photo with Christy shows that Mack worked
this moring putting the dirt up next to the brick. He says some more
dirt will have to be brought in to finish leveling the top before a concrete
porch can be made.

They started pouring concrete at 1: pm and were finally finished
slicking up and brooming the porch at about 10: pm. Tarps were hung
around the porch before dark and a propane heater set up to keep the porch
from freezing during the night.

The concrete has dried. It has a white layer from the water where
the broom was used, but Mack says that it can be washed off.
