John R. “Jack” Stackhouse, 73, of Franklin, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2003, at his residence.
Mr. Stackhouse was born on May 7, 1930, the son of Ralph Lee and Susan Stackhouse. He had worked for the Department of Energy as senior inspector for more than 30 years. Jack had resided in Franklin since 1962.
Preceding him in death were his parents, and his wife, DeLaine Stackhouse.
Surviving are three daughters, Tam Stackhouse of Franklin, Kanda Johnson, and her husband, Greg, of Zachary, La., and Tica Mercer, and her husband, David, of Franklin; a sister, Sarah Hauser of Salina, Kan.; and four grandchildren, Nici, Kacie, Sarah and Jacklin.
ARRANGEMENTS: Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 29, at the Anderson Funeral Home, 1357 E. Second St., Franklin, Ohio, with the Rev. Diann O’Bryant officiating. Burial will be in Woodhill Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m.

Sarah L. Hauser November 30, 1927 - February 20, 2006 Sarah L. Hauser, 78, Salina, died Monday, Feb. 20, 2006.
Mrs. Hauser was born Sarah L. Stackhouse on Nov. 30, 1927, in Earlsboro, Okla. She was a bookkeeper.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Keith, in 1973; and a son, Niles, in 2001.
Survivors include two sons, Mark W. of Overland Park and Byron K. of Franklin, Ohio; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401. A graveside service will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Lakin-Comanche Cemetery, Ellinwood.
Memorials may be made to Ellinwood Library Foundation.
