DUGUID-Alexander William Duguid, passed away at 92 years old surrounded by his loving family. Alex -1/2Bill-5/8 was preceded in death by his beautiful wife, Bettie. He was born in Los Angeles to Scottish immigrants and was raised in Alhambra. Bill and Bettie raised their family in San Gabriel, and in Glendora. He worked as a salesman for La Habra Stucco and Southwest Portland Cement. Alex was past-treasurer of the BIA, also a former member of the Glendora Country Club. Bill enjoyed earning a hole-in-one twice on the Glendora course. Bill is survived by his loving daughter Marilyn (Carl) Malkmus; devoted son Ron (Patti) Duguid and adoring granddaughte rs Carrie and Kim Duguid. In lieu of flowers, Bill would be pleased if you would take some time to smell the roses, share a cup of coffee with a friend, and spend some time listening to a child. Memorial gifts, in Bill's memory, may be given to student scholarships at Glenkirk Presbyterian Church, 1700 E. Palopinto Ave., Glendora, CA 91741. There will be a private, graveside service for the family. White's Funeral Home (626) 334-2921 assisting the family.
