Donald W. Brennenstuhl, age 77,
Oshkosh, died Sunday July 1, 2007.
Donald was born March 25, 1930 in
the township of Union. He was the son of William and Hilda
Brennenstuhl. He married Doris Niemuth
on March 25, 1953, who preceded him in death in 2002. Don worked
as a machinist retiring from Kingsbury Inc. Donald enjoyed hunting,
fishing, golfing, horseshoes, darts, and traveling in their motor
home. He and Doris traveled to all fifty states and enjoyed spending
the winter months in Arizona.
He is survived by three daughters
and sons-in-law and one son, Debra (Mike) Zarling, Omro, Dawn
(Rick)
Helm, Oshkosh, Donna (Ric) Webb,
Oshkosh, Daniel Brennenstuhl (Lane Skalberg) Minneapolis. Don
is also survived by his mother-in-law, Elda Niemuth, Marion,
WI, nine wonderful grandchildren, Adam (Jane) Medley, Allen Medley,
Michelle (Aaron) Brechlin, Joshua Helm, Gerome, Cavan, Tyson,
and Alex Webb, and Valerie Zarling, one step grandson Jason Zarling,
four great-grandchildren, Hope and Faith Medley, Andrew and Elizabeth
Brechlin, and two step great-grandchildren Cheyenne and Rick
Panske-Zombar.
Donald is further survived by two
sisters, Ruth (Tom) Jozwiak and Fay (Ken) Raisler and his sisters
and
brothers-in-law, Gary Mortensen,
Joyce (Earl) Wichman, June (Dale) Kluth, Karen (Stanley) Riska,
Sandy (Bill) Springstroh, and Pat (James) Krueger. He was preceded
in death by his parents, father-in-law, three sisters-in-law,
and one brother-in-law.
Funeral services for Don will be
held Thursday July 5, 2007 at 4:00 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church,
Rev.
Marvin Ahlborn officiating. Family
and friends may call at the church on Thursday from 2 p.m. until
the service. Interment will be in Lake View Memorial Park.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Alzoubi,
James Bonell, and the wonderful staff at Park View Health Center.
A memorial will be established in
Donald's name to the Alzheimer's Association.
