Kay (Niemoth) Jones' obituary --
- Carrie K. Jones, 28, of Grand Island
died Monday, Sept. 24, 2001, at St. Francis Medical Center in
Grand
- Island.
- Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday
at Zion Lutheran Church in Worms. The Rev. Karl Ziegler will
- officiate. Burial will be in the
Wiegert Cemetery in Hall County.
- Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m.
Thursday with the family receiving friends from 6 to 7 p.m. at
Apfel-
- Butler-Geddes Funeral Home.
- Memorials are suggested to the Central
Nebraska Humane Society.
- Mrs. Jones was born March 17, 1973,
at Grand Island to Jerry and Lorretta (Herman) Niemoth. She grew
- up in Grand Island and graduated
from Grand Island Northwest High School in 1991.
- She married Jeff E. Jones on Aug.
28, 1993, in Grand Island. The couple lived on their farm north
of
- Grand Island.
- She loved working on the family
farm and caring for her animals.
- Survivors include her husband; her
mother, Lorretta Niemoth of Grand Island; a sister and brother-
in-law,
- Carla M. and Dave Nielson of Archer;
and maternal grandmother, Anna Herman of Grand Island.
- She was preceded in death by her
father, maternal grandfather and paternal grandparents.
