June (Niemuth) Helstrom's obituary --
- Lorraine June Helstrom, 84 of Oshkosh,
died on Saturday April 1, 2006, while at Northpoint Medical &
- Rehabilitation Center. Lorraine
was born in Oshkosh, on January 19, 1922, a daughter of Arthur
and Nova Shaw Niemuth. She married Raymond G. Helstrom on August
14, 1954 in Oshkosh. Ray preceded her in death on August 19,
1989.
- Lorraine retired from Rockwell International
where she was a secretary for many years. She was a
- member of First English Lutheran
Church. Lorraine was a member of the Elk's Ladies, formerly active
with the Oshkosh Community Players, and enjoyed traveling and
reading.
- She is survived by a niece, Karen
(Roy) Hinn, Oshkosh; a great niece, Vicki Pelky, Oshkosh; a great
- nephew, Jeff (Lisa) Hinn, Oshkosh;
good friends, Ron, Kathy, and Geraldine "Mrs. Geri"
Warner.
- Funeral services will be held at
First English Lutheran Church on Thursday, April 6, 2006 at 11
a.m. with
- Rev. Chuck Flugel officiating. Family
and friends may call at the church on Thursday from 10 a.m. until
the time of service.
- Interment will be at Ellenwood Cemetery.
A memorial to First English Lutheran Church has been
- established.
- Lorraine's family extends a heartfelt
thank you to the staff of Northpoint Medical & Rehabilitation
- Center, and Aurora Medical Center,
and her next door neighbor, John and Peggy Furman for their care
and support.
