F. Ehlke's obituary --
- Wilmer F. Ehlke, 91, of West Bend,
passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2004 at St. Michael Hospital
in
- Milwaukee.
- He was born on Oct. 15, 1912 in
the town of Jackson, the son of the late Sammuel and Anna (nee
Nienow)
- Ehlke, and on Aug. 16, 1941 he was
united in marriage to Norma Kressin at Trinity Lutheran Church
in Freistadt.
- Wilmer was a member of Pilgrim Lutheran
Church in West Bend.
- Survivors include his wife of 62
years, Norma; a daughter, Shirley (Robert) Mayer of West Bend;
a
- brother, Junior (Beata) Ehlke of
the town of Jackson; three sisters, Erna Gilbert of the town
of Jackson, Leona Hilgendorf of Menomonee Falls and Hildegard
(Walter) Eichstadt of the town of Jackson; four grandchildren,
Jeremy, Ryan, Adam and Jolene Mayer; three sisters-in-law, Florence
Ehlke and Myrtle Ehlke, both of the town of Jackson, and Rose
Kurth of the town of Cedarburg; other relatives and friends.
- Preceding him in death were four
brothers, Alfred, Norman, Clarence, and an infant brother, Herbert.
- Funeral services will be held at
4 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 24 at Pilgrim Lutheran Church, West
Bend.
- Rev. Joseph Fisher will officiate,
and burial will be at 11 a.m. on Monday in Christ Lutheran Cemetery,
- town of Jackson.
- Friends may call at the church on
Saturday from 2:30 p.m. until the time of services.
- The Miller Funeral Home, Kewaskum,
is serving the family.
