A funeral service will be held Friday at 7:30 p.m. at First Immanuel Lutheran Church, Cedarburg, for
Henry E. Kurth, 85, who died on April 30, 2000. Visitation will be from 4:30-7:30 p.m. at the church. Rev. Randolph Raasch will officiate at the ceremony, with arrangements handled by Mueller Funeral Home, Cedarburg. Burial will be at Zur Ruhe Cemetery in Cedarburg.
Mr. Kurth was born Jan. 3, 1915 in Cedarburg, son of Henry C. and Augusta (nee Lenat) Kurth. He
married Rose Kressin on Sept. 2, 1944 at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church in Friestadt. He worked as a dairy farmer in the Town of Cedarburg all his life and attended First Immanuel Lutheran Church.
Survivors include: wife Rose Kurth of Cedarburg; sons Norbert (Cheri) Kurth of Cedarburg, Roger (Jan)
Kurth of Columbus and Kenneth Kurth (friend Denise) of Scottsdale, Ariz.; daughter Claire (Dennis) Sampolinski of Columbus; sister Adela Hill of Cedarburg; brother Milton (Wollie) Kurth of West Bend; grandchildren Scott Sampolinski of Thiensville, Sarah and Susanna Sampolinski, both of Columbus, Shawn Kurth, Chad Kurth, Michael Kurth and Austin Kurth, all of Cedarburg, Melissa Kurth, Bryan Kurth and Brandon Kurth, all of Columbus, Tania Kurth, Tasha Kurth and Andrew Kurth, all of Scottsdale, Ariz.; sisters-in-law Norma (Wilmer) Ehlke and Ellen Wolfgram, both of West Bend.
Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by grandson Christian, two brothers and three sisters.
Memorials to the church are appreciated.
