Robert Hoehne, 81, 4446 Hoehne Ln, Lena, passed away at his home October 15, 2005. He was born
November 24, 1923 in the Town of Oconto to the late Henry and Margaret (Hensen) Hoehne. Robert married Eileen Niemuth Roberts July 14, 1973. He was a Journeyman Iron Molder for Allis Chalmers in Milwaukee for 23 years. He also worked as head custodian at Lena High School for 19 years, retiring in 1988. Robert was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Oconto and Disabled Veterans of America. He served our country in the Army Air Corp. during WWII.
Survivors include his wife Eileen; a sister, Margaret Allen, Oconto; sisters-in-law, Lucinda Niemuth, Poy
Sippi, WI; Betty Bourassa, Powers, MI; Annette Saxon, New Berlin, WI; Leila Buttke, Cadott, WI; Carla Kuehni, Red Wing, MN; brothers-in-law, James Saxon, New Berlin, WI; Larry Buttke, Cadott, WI; David Kuehni, Red Wing, MN; Daniel Niemuth, Whitewater, WI; Robert Niemuth, Niagara, WI; and Charles Niemuth, Waupaca, WI; a special niece, Sharon Bergevain and other very special nieces and nephews, relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Edward; a sister and brother-in-law, Irma and Charles Bergevain; and brother-in-law, Dennis Allen.
Friends may call at the Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto from 4 to 8 P. M. Thursday, October 20, 2005.
Visitation will continue at the First Presbyterian Church, Oconto from 10 to 11 A. M. Friday. Funeral service will be 11 A. M. Friday, October 21, 2005, at the Church with Rev. Thomas Beck officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery, Oconto. Military rites will be conducted by the Jones-Modrow-Young post of the American Legion.
Memorials may be given to the First Presbyterian Church, Oconto.
