Lyle D. "Bo" Hefner, 60, of Grand Island died Thursday, Oct. 6, 2005, at St. Francis Medical Center.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Abundant Life Christian Center in Grand Island. The Rev.
Tony Anderson will officiate.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday at All Faiths Funeral Home, with family receiving friends from 5
to 7.

Lyle D. "Bo" Hefner, 60, of Grand Island died Thursday, Oct. 6, 2005, at St. Francis Medical Center.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Abundant Life Christian Center in Grand Island. The Rev.
Tony Anderson will officiate. Burial will be in the Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday, with the family receiving friends from 5 to 7, at All Faiths
Funeral Home.
Mr. Hefner was born May 24, 1945, at Grand Island to Orel and Viola (Niemoth) Hefner.
Survivors of the immediate family include his wife, Dora Hefner; his parents of St. Libory; three sons and
a daughter-in-law, Jason Hefner of Lincoln, Mike McFeely of Oklahoma City and Rich and Cindy McFeely of Bellevue; five daughters and two sons-in-law, Dawn Hefner of Minnesota, Desiree and Tim Kelly of Lincoln, Erin Hefner of Phoenix, Patricia McFeely of Hastings, and Sally and Mike Hunter of Mount Vernon, Iowa; and two brothers and a sister-in-law, Dale Hefner of St. Libory and Ron and Tracy Hefner of Archer.
Other survivors include 17 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Lyle grew up at St. Libory and received his education at St. Paul.
He served in the United States Air Force for four years.
He was united in marriage to Dorothey "Dora" Whitefoot on Nov. 10, 1982. Following their marriage,
they lived at Grand Island.
Lyle and Dora were partners at the Credit Bureau of Grand Island.
He attended the Northshore Assembly of God Church in Hastings.
Lyle enjoyed hunting, driving his tractor and playing guitar. His main enjoyment, though, was "praise and
worship!"
When Lyle was once asked, "What are you about?" his response was, "I'm about Jesus Christ - winning
souls for the Lord!"
Memorials are suggested to be given in care of the family.
