- Kenneth C. Derber, age 88 passed
away on Wednesday, November 24, 2004 at Ripon Medical Center
in
- Ripon, WI. He was born April 6,
1916 in Oshkosh, WI; son of Artie and Bertha (Graf) Derber. He
married Ruby Hahn on April 16, 1936 in Sugar Bush, WI. They farmed
in Waupaca and Ken was a milk hauler in the area for many years.
Ruby preceded him in death on October 16, 1988. They had been
married for 52 years. On Februrary 16, 1991, Kenneth married
Florence (nee: Elvers) Hoddinott in Ripon, WI. He enjoyed music,
dancing, and playing cards with his family and friends. After
his retirement, Kenneth worked at Weymont Golf Course for several
years. He was a very devoted family man and will be so deeply
missed by us all.

of Oshkosh, WI, Step-Sister: Jane Dryer of Marinette, WI, Step-Son:
Gerald (Lani) Hoddinott of Madison, WI, Step-Daughter: Carol
(Donald) Kesich of Ripon, WI, Sister-in-law: Edna Koplien of
Weyauwega, WI, Brother-in-law: Edward (Dorothy) Hahn of Waupaca.
Also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
- He was preceded in death by his
parents, first wife, Ruby Derber, infant son, brother, Vial Derber,
sister,
- Grace Trader, five great-grandchildren,
three sisters-in-law, three brothers-in-law, and a step-son,
Gary Hoddinott.
- A Funeral Service will be on Wednesday,
December 1, 2004 at 11:30 AM at the Holly Funeral Home in
- Waupaca. Pastor Mark West will officiate.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 10:00-11:30 AM at
the funeral home. Burial will be at Ruckdaschel Cemetery in the
Town of Lebanon following the services. The Holly Funeral Home
of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
