- L. W. Eckstein Passes Away Near
Allenville
- Winneconne, Wis. - (Special) - L.
W. Eckstein, 62, passed away about 1:20 o'clock this morning
in the
- town of Vinland near Allenville
on the farm which was his home since early in life. He suffered
an attack of bronchial pneumonia about three weeks ago.
- Mr. Eckstein was born Sept. 10,
1874, at Fremont and was married in 1902 to Miss Bertha Niemuth
of
- the town of Wolf River. He engaged
in the business of trucking and farming.
- Surviving are three daughters, Mrs.
Myrtle Lee of Oshkosh, Misses Grace and Betty Eckstein, both
at
- home; five sons, William of the
town of Clayton, Oscar of the town of Vinland, Abraham, Louis
and Walde, all at the family home; 12 grandchildren; one sister,
Mrs. Lena Neuman of Winnebago; and three brothers, Conrad of
Winneconne, Fred of Allenville, and George of Ledger, Mont.
- Arrangements for the funeral were

- Allenville, Wis. - (Special) - Funeral
services for L. W. Eckstein will be held Sunday afternoon at
1:30
- o'clock at the Winchester Lutheran
church. The Rev. F. B. Anderson will officiate. Burial will be
at the Allenville cemetery.

funeral of the late L. W. Eckstein will be held Sunday afternoon
at 1:30
- o'clock from the home and at 2:15
o'clock from the Winchester Lutheran church. The Rev. F. B. Anderson
will officiate. Burial will be in the Allenville cemetery.

- Hold Final Services for Allenville

- Allenville, Wis. - (Special) - Funeral
services for L. W. Eckstein were held Sunday afternoon at 1:30
- o'clock at the home and at 2:15
o'clock at the Winchester Lutheran cemetery [church]. The Rev.
F. B. Anderson officiated. Burial was at the Allenville cemetery.
The pallbearers were Charles Jones, Carl Allen, George Smith,
Louis Marks, Arthur Cross and Edward Romberg. Ten grandchildren
served as flower-carriers. Selections were sung by Leo Anderson
and Gordon Lestikow with Miss Clara Anderson as accompanist.
Relatives and friends were present from Neenah, Oshkosh, Appleton,
Hartford, Winneconne, Weywauwega [Weyauwega], Waupaca, Tustin,
Edgar, Berlin, Redgranite, New London, Dale, Fond du Lac and
Larsen.
