- HANNA CITY - Wilbert C. Helmick,
70, of 1614 N. Conn Road died at 7:40 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20,
1991, at Saint Francis Medical Center.
- Born July 3, 1921, in St. Louis
to Marion and Mary A. Neimuth Helmick, he married Mildred L.
Snyder.
- She preceded him in death. He later
married Donna Everett on July 15, 1983, in Las Vegas, Nev.
- She survives along with two sons,
John M. of Carbondale and Wilbert Jr. of Peoria; two daughters,
Caryle
- Hack of Washington and Pamela S.
Crannick of Peoria; three brothers, Wayne of Gilbertsville, Ky.,
Walter of Dunlap, and Wesley of Woodridge; seven grandchildren;
and two great- grandchildren. One sister preceded him in death.
- A machinist at Caterpillar Inc.,
he was a member of United Auto Workers Local 974 and the American
- Spaniel Club.
- Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday
at Cumerford-Endsley Memorial Home. Gerald V. Freudenburg will
- officiate. Visitation will be one
hour before the services at the memorial home. Burial will be
in Swan Lake Memory Gardens.
- Memorials may be made to the American
Diabetes Association.
