In Memory of Lucille E. Greenwood
Lucille E. Greenwood, 82, of 221 S. State St., Chippewa Falls, died Thursday, Jan. 25, 2001, at the
Rutledge Home in Chippewa Falls.
She was born June 13, 1918, in Chippewa Falls, to Dora (Winters) and Donie Billiard. She grew up in
Chippewa Falls and attended Chippewa Falls schools.
Lucille married Donald R. Greenwood in November, 1936, in Red Bank, N. J. They resided in Chippewa
Falls since their marriage. She was employed in the laundry of St. Joseph's Hospital from 1963 until her retirement in 1980.
She was a member of Notre Dame Parish, Chippewa Falls, and its P.C.C.W.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Bonnie Lou (Gerald) Anderl of Chippewa Falls, Lola
(Richard) Orlik of Chicago; one son, Bruce (Helen) Greenwood of Los Angeles, Calif.; one brother, Loren Billiard of Summerfield, Fla.; four grandchildren, Rhonda Kay Bechard, Allen and Randy Schuster, Paul Greenwood; five great-grandchildren, Delany Bechard, Amanda Schuster, Steven Schuster, Chesney Schuster, and Brandi Lee Schuster.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Lloyd Billiard; and one grandson, Martin
Schuster.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 27, at Notre Dame Catholic Church with the Rev.
Jerome Robinson celebrating the Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow at Hope Mausoleum, Chippewa Falls.
Friends may call from 3 to 6 p.m. Friday and until 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Pederson-Volker Funeral
Chapel, Chippewa Falls.
The Notre Dame P.C.C.W. will recite the Rosary at 3 p.m. Friday and there will be a Christian Vigil
Service at 5:30 p.m. Friday, both at the funeral chapel.
