- Gartzke, Ruby E.--Manawa
- Age 74, died Thursday, January 30,
2003 at her residence in the presence of her loving family after
a
- lingering illness. She was born
November 10, 1928 in Oshkosh; daughter of the late Harvey and
Lucille (Neimuth) Arndt. Ruby lived on a farm in the Marion and
Clintonville area. She was a 1946 graduate from Clintonville
High School. She married William Gartzke on October 8, 1955 in
Clintonville. After her marriage she lived and farmed with her
husband in the Town of Little Wolf and resided in Manawa since
1992. She was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Manawa.
She is survived by her husband, William; a daughter, Sharon (John)
Watson, Menomonee Falls; a son, David (Kay) Gartzke, Iola; five
grandchildren: Justin, Michelle, Amanda, Jason and Lauren; three
sisters: Carol Bakes, Whitefish Bay; Joyce (Duane) Miller, Clintonville;
Barbara (Joe) Davis, Independence, Missouri. She was preceded
in death by her parents. Funeral services will be Monday, February
3, 2003 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Manawa with
Rev. H. William Jordan officiating. Burial will be in the Little
Wolf Cemetery, Manawa. Friends may call directly at the church
on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. The Cline-Hanson-Dahlke
Funeral Home in Manawa is assisting the family with arrangements.
