Lydia C. "Lee" Lautenbach
Fremont
Age 77, died on Thursday, April 27, 2000, at her home. She was born on December 14, 1922, in the Town
of Wolf River, the daughter of the late Frank and Bertha (Koop) Niemuth. On February 23, 1957, Lydia married Albert Lautenbach; he preceded her in death on August 9, 1971. Lydia served her country in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was a member of Johnston-Blessman Post 38 in Appleton. She graduated from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, with a bachelor's degree in education. Lydia was employed at Kimberly-Clark for 10 1/2 years as an administrative assistant.
Survivors include her sister, Rose Egnoski, Milwaukee; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and
friends. It was Lydia's wish that there be no visitation or funeral service held. Burial will be in Wolf River Cemetery. The Lewin Funeral Home, Fremont, is assisting the family with arrangements.
