- Age 77, died on Thursday, April
27, 2000, at her home. She was born on December 14, 1922, in
the Town
- of Wolf River, the daughter of the
late Frank and Bertha (Koop) Niemuth. On February 23, 1957, Lydia
married Albert Lautenbach; he preceded her in death on August
9, 1971. Lydia served her country in the U.S. Navy during World
War II and was a member of Johnston-Blessman Post 38 in Appleton.
She graduated from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois,
with a bachelor's degree in education. Lydia was employed at
Kimberly-Clark for 10 1/2 years as an administrative assistant.
- Survivors include her sister, Rose
Egnoski, Milwaukee; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives
and
- friends. It was Lydia's wish that
there be no visitation or funeral service held. Burial will be
in Wolf River Cemetery. The Lewin Funeral Home, Fremont, is assisting
the family with arrangements.
