LOUIS C. HANNEMAN KICKED BY HORSE; DIES
Louis C. Hanneman of Antigo, formerly of West Bloomfield, died at an Antigo hospital on Saturday, July
11th, from injuries received when kicked by a horse that he had taken into a stall after returning from a hay field.
The accident happened shortly after dinner and he was immediately taken to the hospital where he
passed away at about seven o'clock that same evening.
Louis C. Hanneman was the son of the late August and Emilia (Pietz) Hanneman.
He was born at West Bloomfield on July 27, 1888 and at an early age started in the logging and lumber
business, which he followed practically all his life, with the exception of about four years during which time he acted as agent for the Haertel Monument Co.
In 1912 he was united in marriage with Miss Minnie Niemuth, who passed away on November 12, 1926.
Five children were born of this union, one of whom, as son, passed away at the age of three days.
He was later married to Miss Ruth Niemuth, who together with his four children, two sons, Gerhard and
Gerold, two daughters, Mrs. Henry Kuhn, Appleton and Verna at home, survive him.
Other surviving relatives are two grandchildren, three brothers, William, Waupaca; Chris, Royalton;
Reuben, West Bloomfield; three sisters, Martha, Mrs. Henry Krause, West Bloomfield; Ella, Mrs. Geo. Hintz, Weyauwega; and Esther, Mrs. Henry Tank, New London.
Funeral services were conducted at the Peace Lutheran church at Antigo at 10 o'clock yesterday morning
by Rev. O. Neuman.
Following the services at Antigo the funeral party left for Weyauwega were another service was con-
ducted by Rev. Reier of Waupaca.
The pall bearers were Walter Boettcher, Ernst Frisch, Emil Kramer, John Dabel, Ben Brandt and Fred
Mentch.
