Various Events Feature Celebration of Silver Wedding of Mr. and
Mrs. Louis W. Eckstein
- Mrs. and Mrs. Louis W. Eckstein,
who reside on a farm near Allenville, celebrated their twenty-fifth
- wedding anniversary Wednesday evening,
June 20, by entertaining about seventy-five relatives and friends.
An old fashioned charivari was tendered the bride and groom of
twenty-five years ago, and games were also enjoyed.
- Later in the evening a delicious
lunch was served, one of the feature's being the bride's cake.
Mr. and
- Mrs. Eckstein received many appropriate
gifts. The couple were married at Zittau, Wis., twenty-five years
ago, coming to Allenville soon after.
- Among those attending the celebration
were: Messrs. and Mesdames Herman Niemuth and family, of
- Stutzenville, Wis.; Louis Niemuth
and family, of Dale; Otto Niemuth and family, August Niemuth
and August Fenner and family, all of Zittau, Mat Newman and family,
George Newman, Fred and William Eckstein, all of Winneconne;
Albert Eckstein and family, Oscar Eckstein, William Eckstein,
Lester Clark and family, all of Allenville; Martin Niemuth and
family, Coleman Eckstein and Miss Ruth Eckstein, all of Winchester;
and Miss Cora Suitz, of Waupaca and Miss Gertrude Fahley, of
Allenville.
