Neenah Marine based at Vietnam Camp
NEENAH - Marine Private First Class James L. Niemuth, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Niemuth of 113
Green Meadows, is serving at the Force Logistic Command (FLC), headquartered at Camp Books, eight miles north of Da Neng, Vietnam.
Force Logistic Command (FLC), with headquarters near Da Neng, receives and processes more than
40,000 supply requests a month. Its drivers covered more than a million and a half miles last year, distributing more than 300,000 tons of cargo and nearly 8,000,000 gallons of water.
FLC is the largest supply, service and supply maintenance organization in the Marine Corps. It serves
U.S. Marine and Republic of South Korea forces in the five northernmost provinces of South Vietnam.

Neenah Marine in Vietnam Logistics
NEENAH - Marine Pvt. 1. C. James L. Niemuth, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Niemuth, 113 Green
Meadows, is serving the Force Logistic Command Support Group Bravo, a unit of Marine Forces Logistic Command in Vietnam.
The group carries out the basic purpose of Force Logistic Command by furnishing supply, service and
maintenance suport for Marine units operating in the area just south of the Demilitarized Zone.
In additional to normal duties, group Marines maintain their own perimeter guard and provide reaction
forces, made up of personnel drawn from all occupational fields, such as supply clerks, maintenance personnel and bakers.
