Birth

According to the IGI, Fanny was born at Mylor, Cornwall, England circa 1823 to John and Caroline Rowe.

However, Smith (2002) & Arthur FRENCH have parents as William ROWE and Grace THOMAS.

Records need to be verified.

Burial

Fanny was buried at White Hills Uniting Church cemetery in November 1898.  The tombstone inscription reads:

In Loving Memory of
Fanny
beloved wife of
John Trethewie
who fell asleep in Jesus
18th November 1898,
aged 75 years
Forever with the Lord

Death

Fanny died on 18 November 1898 aged 75 years at Curraghmore, White Hills, TAS.  Her cause of death was heart disease (Bright's disease and dropsy).  Her medical attendant was G HOGG.  The informant was H R TRETHEWIE, Fanny’s son, of Everton.  Her death was registered the same day.

Fanny immigrated with her husband John and his family, arriving in Launceston per Indian as cabin passengers on 28 December 1843 (or 1 January 1844).
