Death

Susannah died of scarlet fever at Deloraine on 9 April 1875 aged 53 years.  The informant was James GREENSLADE [likely to be Isaac James GREENSLADE, brother-in-law], a farmer of Long Plains.  Her death was registered on 10 April 1875.

Marriage 1

Susannah BEAMS married Thomas QUINN in Launceston on 26 October 1836.  They were married in the parish church of Launceston by Banns by W H BROWNE.  Thomas and Susannah were both free.  

Witnesses to the marriage were George HEARD of Evandale and William JONES of Launceston.

Susannah had just turned 14!  Thomas was aged about 22 years. Susannah made her mark, X, as signature.

Marriage 2

William FISHER married Susannah BEAMS on 10 September 1851 at Longford.  William was aged 35, a bachelor and free.  Susannah was aged 29, a widow and free.  

They were married by Alfred STACKHOUSE in the United Church of England & Ireland at Perth.  Witnesses to the marriage were John LAARSON and Emma FURNESS.  

Susannah made her mark (x) on the marriage certificate.
