Thomas J. Everitt Dies at Kokomo; Buried Here
Thomas Jefferson Everitt, a former resident of this place, died on Tuesday of last week at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Joseph Gilbert, in Kokomo, of paralysis. Aged 70 years. The body was brought here Thursday morning and funeral services were held at the Christian church, after which burial was at the Everitt cemetery southwest of Vienna.
He is survived by two sons and two daughters, Paul Everitt, of Indianapolis; Oliver Everitt, of California; Mrs. Joseph Gilbert, of Kokomo, with whom he resided, and Mrs. Martin Blackford, of Tipton. He is also survived by two sisters and two brothers, Mrs. Mary Murphy, of Scottsburg; Mrs. Henry Tash, of Noblesville; Wm Everitt, of near Vienna, and Alonzo Everitt, of near Noblesville.
