Henry Woodard, colored, the murderer of Frank Tabor, of Pocahontas, and who has been under sentence of death since the February term of the Tazewell County Court was hanged at Tazewell yesterday......
Frank Tabor was mine boss of Collieries Company, and discharged Woodward nearly a year before the tragedy, at which time, it was shown at the trial Woodard declared he would get even with Tabor
On the 26 day of December 1903, Tabor, with a number of other men, white and black, including Woodard, were in Sam Matz's barroom at Pocohanas, when, as witnesses testified, Woodard shot and killed Tabor without the slightest provocation.....

Hughey Lucas, of Shenandoah, Va, and Miss Jeanette Tabor, daughter of Samuel Tabor of this city, were united in marriage Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock in Marietta, Ohio. The bride has been visiting her sister Mrs. James Keister, in Belpre, for the past few months and Mr. Lucas is employed by the King Bridge Co, in Parkersburg.

James Tabor, who was struck by a passenger train near Bluestone Junction Saturday afternoon....was taken to the Miners' Hospital at Welch. It was found that he had sustained the fracture of three ribs and his left arm was so badly crushed that amputaton at the shoulder was necessary.....Mr. Tabor is married and has four children. He was a miner in the employe of the Caswell Creek Company at Simmons and was on his return from Pocahontas when run down by the train.
