Burwell Perry was 15 years old when he came to Granville county, (now Franklin county) North Carolina, in 1752. He died about 1803 in Franklin county, North Carolina. He was married to Elizabeth Massey. Issue: Colonel Jeremiah, Captain Joshua, Rachel, Mary, Burrell, Captain John and Edith. (information sent by Carlton E. Spiers; from a ?surname? book on page 279)
Burwell died in Franklin county, North Carolina at his home place "Cascine". The Perry homestead where he lived is about five miles from Louisburg, North Carolina. This place was patented by Jeremiah Perry, Burwell Perry's brother, who willed it to his son, Willis. Willis Perry afterward sold the place to his Uncle Burwell and it has been in possession of his descendants ever since. (information from Jim Allen)
