Enoch Nelson Hoyt was born on 24 May 1832 in Newton, Rockingham County, New Hampshire.1,2,3,4 He was the son of Enoch Hoyt and Eleanor Greeley.1
The census of 1850 shows Enoch N. Hoyt, 18, a shoemaker, in the household of Enoch Hoyt and Ellen Hoyt, at Newton.5
He married Sarah Colby Mann on 21 August 1852.6
He died on 30 December 1899 in Newton, at age 67.7 He was buried in Willow Grove Cemetery, Newton, Rockingham County, New Hampshire.7
