     Edmond Hinckley is the son of Seth Hinckley and Thankful Atwood.

     Edmond Hinckley was born in 1712. He was the son of Samuel Hinckley and Mary Freeman.

     Elijah Hinckley was born as calculated from age at death, probably at Harwich, Barnstable County, Massachusetts. He was shown as a minor in his father's probate.¹ He was the son of Thomas Hinckley and Ruth Merrick.¹ He served in the Revolutionary War in the Hampshire County, Massachusetts Militia.¹ He married Patience Rose on 16 March 1780 in Deerfield, Franklin County, Massachusetts. Their marriage intentions at Montague show Patience's maiden name as Ross.¹

He died on 20 June 1812 in Conway, Franklin County, Massachusetts.¹

     Elizabeth Hinckley was born on 2 September 1635 in Scituate, Plymouth County, Massachusetts.¹ She was the daughter of Samuel Hinckley and Sarah Soole.¹

She married Elisha Parker on 12 December 1649.¹

     Elkanah Hinckley was born on 1 July 1732 in Harwich, Barnstable County, Massachusetts.¹ He was the son of Joshua Hinckley and Lydia Snow. He was baptized on 29 July 1733 in Harwich.¹

He signed the call for Mr. Ebenezer Knibloe to be the preacher for the Western Society of Philippi (now Carmel), Putnam County, New York.¹

He was probably the "Elheny" Hinckley on the 1758-1759 tax list for the Southern Precinct of Dutchess County (now Putnam County). He served in the Revolutionary War in the Dutchess County Militia, as well as in the New York State Troops as a corporal.¹

     Elnathan Hinckley was born on 8 September 1686 in Barnstable, Barnstable County, Massachusetts.¹ He was the son of Samuel Hinckley and Sarah Pope.

He died before 29 December 1698.¹

     Elnathan Hinckley was born on 29 December 1698 in Barnstable, Barnstable County, Massachusetts. The Barnstable records clearly state Elnathan was born 29 Dec 1698, and his father died 19 Mar 1697. If the date of birth is correct, Elnathan was not the son of Samuel Hinckley. Amos Otis casts aspersions on the character of the mother Sarah (Pope) Hinckley, saying her behavior "is what mothers do not often do," and that she "deserted her family." The latter is not likely to have been accurate because most of her children lived in Harwich, as did she and her second husband.The first part may have been speculation on Otis's part and he provides no documentation. Joseph Paine's manuscript of the Hinckley family tries to adjust the birth record by stating Elnathan was born "Dec. 29, 1695/6 or 97." To add to the uncertainty, the Barnstable listing of Samuel's children states "his son" or "his daughter" before each child except Elnathan.¹ He was the son of Samuel Hinckley and Sarah Pope. His died after 5 January 1726/27 when he was mentioned in his mother's will.²

     Emily Elizabeth Hinckley was born say 1994. She is the daughter of Glenn Donald Hinckley and Cynthia Ann Jones.

     Experience Hinckley was born in February 1665.¹ She was the daughter of Thomas Hinckley and Mary Smith.

She married James Whipple.

She died about 1688.

     George Hinckley was the son of John Hinckley of Albany, N.Y. and Eunice Warren.¹

     Gershom Hinckley was born on 2 April 1682.¹ He was the son of John Hinckley and Bethia Lothrop.¹

     Gideon Hinckley was born about 1728. He was the son of Seth Hinckley and Thankful Atwood.

     Glenn Donald Hinckley was born say 1960. He is the son of Donald Manning Hinckley and Barbara Estina Sprague.
