He married Lydia S. Farnum on 13 May 1854.³

On 7 August 1862 Rufus R. Hazelton enlisted in Company B, Ninth New Hampshire Regiment.³

He died on 4 September 1863 in Nicholsville, Jessamine County, Kentucky, at age 32.³

Alice Hazen¹

b. 10 June 1686, d. 17 October 1740

Alice Hazen was born on 10 June 1686, daughter of Thomas and Mary (Howlett) Hazen of Boxford.¹

She married Jeremiah Perley, son of John Perley and Mary Howlett, on 20 December 1710.¹

She died on 17 October 1740 in Boxford, Essex County, Massachusetts, at age 54 The following is the inscription upon her tombstone in Harmony Cemetery, East Boxford, where probably her husband was buried:

Edward Hazen was born on 17 July 1688 in Rowley, Essex County, Massachusetts, son of Edward and Jane (Pickard) Hazen.¹

He married Sarah Perley, daughter of Thomas Perley and Lydia Peabody, and resided in Bradford, Essex County, Massachusetts.¹

He died on 19 April 1723 in Newbury, Essex County, Massachusetts, at age 34.¹
