She married Edward Spalding on 13 December 1838 in North Bridgewater (now Brockton), Plymouth County, Massachusetts.4

The census of 1850 shows Edward H. Spaulding, 35, a cabinet maker, with $4000 real estate, and Catherine Spaulding, 28, listed with Adelaide E. Spaulding, Charles E. Spaulding and George E. Spaulding living at North Bridgewater (now Brockton).5

The census of 1860 shows E. H. Spaulding, 44, a saloon keeper with $8000 real estate and $4000 personal estate, and Catherine Spaulding, 37, listed with George E. Spaulding and Adelaide Spaulding living at North Bridgewater (now Brockton). They were living in the same house as the family of Edward's brother, B. S. Spaulding.3

He married Grace Agnes Merritt, daughter of Isaac Elmer Merritt and Mary Jane Mann, in June 1907 in East Ave Congregational Chruch, Lockport, Niagara County, New York.

He died on 20 January 1937 in La Grange, Cook County, Illinois, at age 56.

He married Elizabeth Orinda Hunt on 1 September 1847, as his first wife.1 He and Phebe P. Hunt published their marriage intention on 11 November 1849 in North Bridgewater (now Brockton), Plymouth County, Massachusetts.3

He married Phebe P. Hunt on 20 November 1849, as his second wife.1

The census of 1850 shows Daniel Hayward, 28, a trader, and Phebe Hayward, 25, listed with Nathan W. Hayward living at North Bridgewater now North Bridgewater (now Brockton). Also living there was Marten Hunt, 21, a clerk from Maine.2

The census of 1860 shows Daniel Hayward, 39, a trader with $5000 real estate and $2560 personal estate, and Phebe P. Hayward, Also living there were: George F. Hunt, 20, a salesman from Maine; and John Hernan, 17, a salesman from Ireland, listed with Alice C. Hayward, Walter S. Hayward, Nathan Hayward and Simeon F. Hayward living at North Bridgewater (now Brockton).4

The census of 1870 shows Daniel Hayward, 49, a grocer with $15,000 real estate and $3,500, and Phebe P. Hunt, 44, keeping house, listed with Alice C. Hayward, Walter S. Hayward, Nathan Hayward, Mabel Hayward, Phebe F. Hayward and Edith M. Hayward living at North Bridgewater (now Brockton). Also living there was an Irish domestic servand, Nora Lyon, 18.5

He died in 1896.6 He was buried in Union Cemetery, Centre Street, North Bridgewater (now Brockton), Plymouth County, Massachusetts.7
