     Ebenezer Hale was born on 21 April 1695.¹ He was the son of Capt. Thomas Hale and Sarah Northend.¹

     Ebenezer Hale drowned, unmarried on 25 May 1715 at age 20.¹

     Ebenezer Hale was born on 2 March 1724/25 in Rowley, Essex County, Massachusetts.¹ He was the son of Daniel Hale and Judith Emery.¹

He married Sarah Wicom on 8 March 1747/48 in Bradford, Essex County, Massachusetts.²

He died before 19 February 1749/50.³

     Ebenezer Hale was born on 15 August 1736 in what was then known as Haverhill, Mass but on the running of the State line in 1740 was found to be in New Hampshire; this part then known as Haverhill District, N. H till 1749, when it was incorporated as Plaistow. In 1769 the easterly portion, including the homestead of Ebenezer Hale, was set off as Atkinson.² He was the son of Thomas Hale and Mary Smith.¹ About 1758, Ebenezer Hale moved to Hampstead, Rockingham County, New Hampshire.²

He married Susannah Roberts daughter of Jonathan Roberts on 28 April 1758 in Hampstead.¹

He died early 1774 at the house of Ebenezer Ladd, apparently while there on a visit.

Letters of administration were granted on his estate by the Rockingham Probate Court, 23 Feb 1774, describing him as of Hampstead, to James Little of Atkinson. No account was ever rendered by the administrator, and on the 25th July, 1783, letters of administration de bonis non issued from the same court to Jonathan Roberts Hale, who filed no account. The inventory of the estate footed £728, and in 1776 license was given the administrator to sell two-thirds of the real estate for the payment of debts.³

     Ebenezer Hale was born on 17 July 1784.¹ He was the son of Jonathan Hale and Eunice Spofford.¹

He married Hannah Savary.¹

     Col. Ebenezer Hale was born on 4 October 1774 in Plaistow or Atkinson, Rockingham County, New Hampshire, . After his father's death his Aunt Sarah, the wife of Deacon Moses Atkinson, took him and his sister Mary to her home, and having no children, brought them up as her own. She was a woman of an active mind and well-read on the questions of the day. Deacon A. was a farmer and shoemaker and something of a merchant, and Ebenezer got an insight into each of these lines of business, though commercial and shipping matters had more attractions for him than the bench or plow. In those days almost any man of any means had some ventures on the seas, some interest in ships, and often some underwriter's risks, as it was before the days of insurance companies. Col. Hale took an interest in military affairs in and before the War of 1812, and went with his regiment on one or two occasions to repel threatened invasion at Portsmouth and on the nearer coasts. He was quite successful in business till the embargo and the War of 1812 struck heavy blows on all occupations. After the war business revived very slowly, and he was obliged to take charge of one of the vessels in which he was interested, as its captain. As shipping became more profitable his affairs improved, and he was elected president of the Ocean Bank, a trustee of Dummer Academy and other institutions.³ He was the son of Benjamin Hale and Lydia White.²

He married Lucy Balch on 28 September 1835.¹

He died on 19 February 1848 in Newbury, Essex County, Massachusetts, at age 73.¹

     

     Ebenezer Hale probably died young.¹ He was born on 8 November 1763.¹ He was the son of Ebenezer Hale and Susannah Roberts daughter of Jonathan Roberts.¹

     Ebenezer Hale was born on 8 August 1787 in Newbury, Essex County, Massachusetts.¹ He was the son of Amos Hale and Elizabeth Plumer.¹

     Ebenezer Hale was born on 28 April 1809.¹ He was the son of Thomas Hale and Alice Little.¹

He was educated at Gardiner Lyceum and Newburyport Academy. He studied medicine, and graduated at Dartmouth Medical School in 1829. He practiced his profession in Newbury, Vt., for a year or two, and then accepted the secretaryship of a New York insurance company, with which he was connected until 1837. Dr. Hale, after a trip to Europe, and sometime devoted to mechanical and scientific investigation, especially in regard to a new application of india rubber, and the development of the photographic art, resumed the practice of his profession in Newburyport and Boston.¹

He married Sarah White Bannister on 13 June 1844.¹

He died on 2 August 1847 in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts, at age 38 . He was one of the pioneers in genealogical research.¹

     Ebenezer Hale was born on 8 October 1845.¹ He was the son of Ebenezer Hale and Sarah White Bannister.¹

He died on 19 February 1860 at age 14.¹

     Ebenezer Hale Jr. was born on 9 December 1839.¹ He was the son of Col. Ebenezer Hale and Lucy Balch.¹

He died on 23 July 1840.¹

     Ebenezer Thomas Hale was born on 9 May 1812.¹ He was the son of Col. Ebenezer Hale and Lucy Balch.¹ He was graduated from Yale University, served in the Mass. 45th Regiment, Co. A., in the war of the Rebellion as a private, and studied law at Cambridge.¹

He died on 7 September 1868 in Newburyport, Essex County, Massachusetts, at age 56 at his home.¹

     Eber Hale was born on 15 May 1802 in Waterford, York County, Maine. He was the son of Israel Hale and Esther Taylor. He appeared on the census of 1820 in the household of her parents, Israel Hale and Esther Taylor, at Waterford, Oxford County, Maine.¹

In 1820, the Maine estate schedules showed him to be in the household of his parents, 'Eben [sic], son, 18, able to work.²'

He married Jemima Richardson on 12 December 1829 in Sweden, Oxford County, Maine, The marriage was performed by Francis Hamlin, justice of the peace of Sweden, ME. He appeared on the census of 1850 at Lovell, Oxford County, Maine, where he was a farmer with $500 estate. The census of 1880 shows Eber Hale in the household of Charles H. Hale and Mary B. Hale, at Otter Creek, Eau Claire County, Wisconsin.³

     Edith McLellan Hale was born on 6 July 1867 in Portland, Cumberland County, Maine. She was the daughter of Frederick Fletcher Hale and Adelaide L. McLellan. The census of 1880 shows Edith McLellan Hale in the household of Fred F. Hale and Adelaide Hale, at Portland.¹

     Edmund Hale was born on 7 October 1703 in Newbury, Essex County, Massachusetts.² He was the son of Henry Hale and Sarah Kelly.¹

He married Martha Sawyer on 16 May 1728.¹ In 1734, Edmund Hale and Martha Sawyer moved to Haverhill, Essex County, Massachusetts along with Joseph Hale, Edmund Hale and Sarah Hale . This land was set off by running of new State line into Plaistow, N. H. in 1741, and again set off into Atkinson on formation of that town.³

He died on 29 May 1788 in Alstead, Cheshire County, New Hampshire, at age 84.²
