He married Hannah Dickinson, daughter of Sgt. John Dickinson and Frances Foote, on 23 September 1668.1

He was killed in the Falls fight on 19 May 1676.1

He married Josephine Mighill Perley, daughter of Humphrey Clark Perley and Hester Malvinia Wilcox, on 23 October 1860 in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois.

He died on 8 October 1892 in Chicago, at age 81.
