He married Mary Kendrick Felt, daughter of George Ropes Felt of Salem and Ann Elizabeth Kendrick, on 15 April 1885 in Salem, Essex County, Massachusetts.1
In 1906, Arthur Burrage French was an importer of chinaware at Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.1

She married Irad Colby, son of Charles Sargent Colby and Jane Wheeler, on 11 July 1855 in Bow.3
She died on 16 January 1893 in Bow, at age 55.1 She and Irad Colby were buried in Evans (North) Cemetery on White Rock Hill Rd, by Turee Pond, Bow, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.4
