Stephen Eastman

     Stephen Eastman was born on 27 March 1744 in Newton, Rockingham County, New Hampshire.1

He married Anna Colby, daughter of Abraham Colby and Elizabeth Blaisdell, in 1767 in Newton.2,3
As of before 1778, Stephen and Anna lived at Newton.4 In 1778, Stephen and Anna bought the farm at the northerly base of Wood Hill, in Bow, Merrimack County, New Hampshire,, opposite the junction of the Hammond road with the main road.4 In 1806, Stephen and Anna sold farm in Bow, and removed to Billemead, now Sutton, VT. Their descendants resided in Wheelock, Sutton, Lyndon, and Charlestown, VT, and in Milton, NH.4
