     Artemas Emery Fairbank was born on 24 December 1825 in Harvard, Worcester County, Massachusetts.² He was the son of Artemas Fairbanks and Rachel Houghton.¹ In Winchendon, Worcester County, Massachusetts Artemas Emery Fairbank worked for his brother, John Henry, for nearly a year.² Artemas Emery Fairbank carried on livery business for five years in Leominster, Worcester County, Massachusetts.²

He married Harriet Elizabeth Sheafe on 9 April 1850 in Bellows Falls, Windham County, Vermont.²

He married Elvira Wealthy Allen on 23 November 1852 in Leominster.³

     Elva May Fairbank was born on 4 February 1881 in South Gardner, Worcester County, Massachusetts.² She was the daughter of Sidney Brigham Fairbank and Florence Francette Hubbard.¹

She married Clifford W. Shippee.²

     Emery Evarts Fairbank was born on 27 January 1851 in Leominster, Worcester County, Massachusetts.¹ He was the son of Artemas Emery Fairbank and Harriet Elizabeth Sheafe.¹ Emery Evarts Fairbank was employed in painting and papering.¹ 1880, Emery Evarts Fairbank enlisted in the U.S. Army, 7th Calvary Regiment, and was promoted to assistant quartermaster. He served five years. He was naturally very ingenious, and could do almost anything. While in the army he made a fine black walnut book-case for the 1st Lieutenant, and painted the officers' and mens' quarters.¹ The census of 1880 shows Emory E. Fairbanks, a hosteler, in the household of Elvira Fairbanks, at Gardner, Worcester County, Massachusetts.²
Emery lived the West and Australia. He was very fond of travel.¹ When last heard from, Emery lived in Deadwood, Lawrence County, South Dakota.¹

      Frank Boutell Fairbank was a livery stable keeper in Fitchburg, Worcester County, Massachusetts.² He was born on 13 May 1858 in Westminster, Worcester County, Massachusetts.² He was the son of Artemas Emery Fairbank and Elvira Wealthy Allen.¹
