     Joseph Duncklee was born on 21 April 1810 in Cambridge, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, son of Samuel and Sally (Wilson) Duncklee.1,2

He married Betsey P. Woodbury, daughter of James Woodbury and Lucy Story, on 20 March 1840 in Dunbarton, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.3

He died on 1 August 1870 in Brighton, Suffolk County, Massachusetts, at age 60.2,4 He was buried in Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.4
