Henry Alexander Scammell Dearborn was born on 3 March 1783 in Exeter, Rockingham County, New Hampshire, son of Henry Dearborn.1

He married Hannah Swett Lee, daughter of Col. William Raymond Lee and Mary Lemmon, on 5 May 1807.2

He died on 29 July 1851 in Portland, Cumberland County, Maine, at age 68.1 He was buried in Forest Hills Cemetery, Jamaica Plain, Suffolk County, Massachusetts.1
