     Lydia D. Davenport was born in 1832 or 1833 in Colrain, Franklin County, Massachusetts.1,2

She married Emerson J. Cary, son of John Cary and Olive Watson, on 29 August 1858 in Colrain.3

The census of 1880 shows Emerson J. Carey, Emerson was a dealer in junk. Also in the household was Clara Barlow, 40, who kept house, and Lydia Carey, listed with Alice Carey and Jay Carey living at North Adams, Berkshire County, Massachusetts.1

He married Melinda Johnson about 1839.3

Amos K. Davis was postmaster at Hyde Park, Suffolk County, Massachusetts.4

The census of 1860 shows Amos K. Davis, 43, a pedlar, with $3000 real estate and $200 personal estate, and Melinda Davis, listed with Isabella Davis and Albert Davis living at Hill, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.5
