She married John D. Colby, son of Daniel B. Colby and Caroline G. Dame, on 19 December 1894 in New Hampshire.²

She died on 13 April 1931 in Gilford, Belknap County, New Hampshire, at age 52.¹

     Sarah J. Call was born in September 1845 in Canaan, Grafton County, New Hampshire.¹

She married John Wheeler, son of Amos B. Wheeler and Hannah Quimby, about 1866.²

     Alice Lela Carey was born on 7 May 1865 in North Adams, Berkshire County, Massachusetts.^2,1 She was the daughter of Emerson J. Cary and Lydia D. Davenport.¹ The census of 1880 shows Alice Carey in the household of Emerson J. Carey and Lydia Carey, at North Adams.³

She married William H. Buck on 8 October 1885 in North Adams, They were married by J. W. Thompson, M. E. clergyman. William was a carpenter.^1,4

     Charles W. Carey was born on 19 September 1845 in Colrain, Franklin County, Massachusetts.¹ He was the son of David Cary and Lura Ann Lamb.² In 1911, Charles lived in the West.

     Daniel Carey was born on 25 November 1804 in Paris, Oxford County, Maine.¹ He was the son of Ebenezer Cary and Martha Brock.² He worked for Amariah Harris of North Paris, Me. from the time he was eleven years of age until he was sixteen.
As of between 1825 and 1884, Daniel lived at Waltham, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.

He married Harriet Livermore Dix on 13 April 1834 in Waltham.³

The census of 1870 shows Daniel Cary, 66, a farmer with $15,000 real estate and $200 personal estate, and Harriet Livermore Dix, 55, keeping house, listed with George Washington Carey and Sarah A. Cary living at Waltham.⁴

He died on 11 February 1892 in Waltham, at age 87 of pneumonia. He was a farmer.¹

     Edward M. Carey was born on 5 October 1843 in Haverhill, Grafton County, New Hampshire.^3,1,4,5 He was the son of Charles W. Cary and Luthera M. Leet.^1,2

He married Lucy Ann Clark.²

The census of 1880 shows Edward M. Carey, a dealer in agricultural implements, and Lucyanna Carey, listed with Charles E. Carey living at Red Oak, Montgomery County, Iowa. They had a domestic servant, Ann E. Denlinger, 23. Also in the household was a bookkeeper, Frank F. Taylor, 21, from Pennsylvania.⁶

The census of 1910 shows Edward M. Carey, 66, self employed, and Emma Carey, 49 living at 900 Hammond Street, Red Oak, Montgomery County, Iowa. Also in the household was a servant, Anna Johnson, 49, of Swedish parentage.⁷

     George Walton Cary was born on 27 February 1860 in South Reading, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.² He was the son of Daniel Carey and Mary Elizabeth Green.¹ He appeared on the census of 1860 in the household of his father, but in the home of his grandparents, Zenas Cary and Susan Carey, at South Reading.³ The census of 1870 shows George W. Cary, 10, at school, in the household of Daniel Cary and Mary Elizabeth Green, at Wakefield, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.⁴ The census of 1880 shows George W. Carey, 20, son, clerk in the R.R office, in the household of Daniel Carey and Mary L. Carey, at Wakefield.¹

He married Lizzie A. Wyman on 24 September 1881 in Melrose, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, They were married by John G. Taylor, clergyman. George was a train reporter.⁵

He married Jessie M. Harper on 28 July 1900 in Wakefield, They were married by Albert P. Davis, clergyman. George was a machinist.⁶

     Said to be "of North Adams, Berkshire County, Massachusetts."³ James Parmely Carey was born on 18 May 1848 in Colrain, Franklin County, Massachusetts.^2,1 He was the son of John Cary and Olive Watson.²

     Mary Alice Carey was born on 30 November 1866 in Reading, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.³ She was the daughter of Daniel Carey and Mary Elizabeth Green.² The census of 1870 shows Mary Alice Carey, 3, in the household of Daniel Cary and Mary Elizabeth Green, at Wakefield, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.⁴ The census of 1880 shows Mary S. Carey, 13, daughter, at school, in the household of Daniel Carey and Mary L. Carey, at Wakefield.²

She married Charles B. Goodhue on 20 May 1882 in Reading, They were married by Rev. J. K. Ewet. Charles was a machinist.³

     Muriel Joyce Carey was born on 26 July 1882 in Waltham, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.¹ She was the daughter of George Washington Carey and Lucy Howard Moore.² The census of 1900 shows Muriel Carey, 17, at school, in the household of George Carey and Lucy Carey, at Bacon Street, Waltham, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.³

In 1910, Muriel Joyce Carey was a phys instructor.⁴

She married Chester Arthur Drummond, son of Charles W. Drummond and Jennie L. Legg, on 30 March 1910 in Waltham, by Joseph K. Mason, clergyman.⁴
