     Mercy Lucinda Converse was born on 11 June 1815 in Grafton, Grafton County, New Hampshire.¹ She was the daughter of Robert Converse and Edna Hale.¹

She married Amos R. Palmer.¹
As of 1889, Mercy lived at Grafton.¹

     

He married Edna Hale, daughter of Ambrose Hale and Mercy Daby, in May 1795.²

He died on 19 September 1848 in Grafton, Grafton County, New Hampshire.²

     Robert Converse was born on 7 March 1811 in Grafton, Grafton County, New Hampshire.¹ He was the son of Robert Converse and Edna Hale.¹

He died on 1 July 1813 at age 2.¹

     Robert Newton Converse was born on 2 September 1817 in Grafton, Grafton County, New Hampshire.¹ He was the son of Robert Converse and Edna Hale.¹

He married Mary Stuart, and had nine children who were alive in 1889.¹
As of 1889, Robert lived at Grafton.¹

     Sarah A. Converse was born on 3 August 1844 in Hooksett, Merrimack County, New Hampshire, Daughter of Alexander H. and Nancy Converse.¹ She was previously married to a Mr. Wentworth.²

She married George A. Colby, son of Levi Colby and Dolly Green Davis, on 17 January 1870 in Hooksett.³

The census of 1880 shows George D. Colby, George worked on the railroad. Also in the household were his mother-in-law, Namey Converse, 65; a servant, Harriett Converse, 25; and Samuel C. Head, 19, who worked in a cotton mill, and Sarah A. Colby, listed with Katie B. Colby living at Hooksett.⁴

She died on 7 August 1913 in Hooksett, at age 69.⁵ She was buried in Head Cemetery, Hooksett, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.⁵

     Stillman Converse was born on 4 May 1803 in Grafton, Grafton County, New Hampshire.¹ He was the son of Robert Converse and Edna Hale.¹

He married Mercy Calef.¹

      Maj. Aaron Cook was born in 1609/10.¹ He was baptized on 20 March 1613/14 in Bridport, Dorset, England.
Aaron lived at Dorchester, Suffolk County, Massachusetts.¹ In 1636, Maj. Aaron Cook moved to Windsor, Hartford County, Connecticut.¹

He married about 1637 Mary Ford, his step-sister, daughter of Thomas Ford and Joan Way. She was baptized 18 Aug 1612 in Powerstock, Dorset. They had Joanna, bapt. 5 Aug 1638; Aaron, 21 Feb 1641; Miriam, 12 Mar 1643; and Moses, 16 Nov 1645.¹

He married about 1650 as his second wife, Joan Denslow, daughter of Nicholas Denslow and Elizabeth Doling, They had Samuel, 21 Nov 1650; Elizabeth 7 Aug 1653; and Noah, 14 Jun 1657, The second wife died Apr 1676.¹ In 1661, Maj. Aaron Cook moved to Northampton, Hampshire County, Massachusetts.¹

He married on 2 December 1676 in New Haven, New Haven County, Connecticut, as his third wife, Elizabeth Nash, daughter of John and Elizabeth (probably Tapp) Nash. They had no children.¹

He married Rebecca Foote, daughter of Nathaniel Foote and Elizabeth Deming, on 2 October 1688 as his fourth wife, and her second husband.²

He died on 6 September 1690, aged 80.¹

     Ansel Granville Cook M.D. was born in 1861 or 1862 in Scotland . Both his parents were born in Massachusetts, according to the 1910 census; or father from Maryland and mother from Maine, according to 1920 census.¹

He married Anna Huntington Richardson, daughter of Charles Richardson of Boston and Ellen Louisa Hayward, in 1891 in Hartford, Hartford County, Connecticut.

In 1908, Ansel Granville Cook M.D. was president of the Orthopedic Association.

The census of 1910 shows Ansel Cook, 48, physician, and Anna H. Cook, wife, 48, mother of three, all still living, listed with Katherine Cook, Ellenor Cook and Harriet Cook living at 722 Asylum Avenue, Hartford, Hartford County, Connecticut. Also living there was a servant, Anna Anderson, 23, from Sweden, also attending school.¹

The census of 1920 shows Ansel G. Cook, 57, a practicing physician, and Annah R. Cook, wife, 57, listed with Kathyrn C. Cook, Ellenar R. Cook and Harriet H. Cook living at 722 Asylum Avenue, Hartford. Also living there were a widowed housekeeper, Lucy Kierstead, 31, and her daughter, Ruth, 12, attending school. (There is some indication that these two may have occupied their own apartment.).²

     Arther Floyd Cook was born about 1890 in Walbach, Greeley County, Nebraska, This place name is unknown.¹

He married Carrie May Glines, daughter of Charles William Glines and Mary Bell Rogers, on 26 February 1913.¹

     

She married Liston D. Cary, son of Liston D. Cary and Lizzie Ward, in 1898.¹

     Elizabeth Cook was born in 1677, daughter of Capt. Aaron Cook.²

She married Ichabod Smith, son of Lieut. Dea. Philip Smith and Rebecca Foote, on 19 July 1698.¹

She died on 10 October 1751.¹

     Ellenor Richardson Cook was born on 16 November 1896 in Connecticut.^1,2 She was the daughter of Ansel Granville Cook M.D. and Anna Huntington Richardson. The census of 1910 shows Ellenor Cook, daughter, 13, attending school, in the household of Ansel Cook and Anna H. Cook, at 722 Asylum Avenue, Hartford, Hartford County, Connecticut.² The census of 1920 shows Ellenar R. Cook, daughter, 23, in the household of Ansel G. Cook and Annah R. Cook, at 722 Asylum Avenue, Hartford.³

     Ethel May Cook was born on 19 May 1889.¹ She was the daughter of Lester S. Cook and May Fletcher.¹
