Asa M. Allen was born on 28 September 1839.¹ He was the son of George W. Allen and Patty Morgan.¹ The census of 1850 shows Asa Allen, 10, attending school, in the household of George W. Allen and Patty Allen, at Bow, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.²

He married Mary Wiggin in July 1866.¹

The census of 1880 shows Asa M. Allen, Asa was a carriage maker, and Mary Allen living at Concord, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.³

He died in 1882.¹

The census of 1860 shows Cornelius Allen, 39, a farmer with $2000 real estate and $700 personal estate, and Cordelia Allen, 30, listed with Marilla C. Allen living at Washington. Also in the household was Louisa Canfield, 8, at school.⁴

The census of 1880 shows Elvira Fairbanks, listed with Emory E. Fairbanks and Frank B. Fairbanks living at Gardner, Worcester County, Massachusetts. Also in the household was Nellie Cleveland, 8.³
