He married Martha J. Robbins about 1949.¹ He was born in 1958 in Concord.¹ He and Martha R. Colby were buried in Blossom Hill Cemetery, Concord, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.²

     Willoughby Colby was born on 2 November 1801 in Bow, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.¹ He was the son of Willaby Colby and Molly Sargent.¹

He married Cynthia Brown about 1824 in Bow.² In 1830, Willoughby lived in the south side of Dunbarton.

The census of 1850 shows Willoughby Colby, Willoughby was a farmer with $3,000 real estate. His son Ira was also a farmer., and Cynthia Colby, listed with Ira Colby, Humphrey P. Colby and Harriett Sanford living at Dunbarton, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.³

He died on 3 June 1876 in Dunbarton, at age 74.⁴

From 1918 to 1919 Willoughby Amos Colby was a seaman in the U.S. Navy.³ He was graduated in 1921 from Boston University with an LL.B. degree, and was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar the same year.³

He married Helen Sayles on 25 October 1921 in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts.³

In 1922, Willoughby Amos Colby was admitted to the New Hampshire Bar, and began practice in that state.³ He was a member of the Society of Colonial Wars in New Hampshire.³

From 1925 to 1927, Willoughby Amos Colby was a member of the General Court of New Hampshire.³

Since 1947, Willoughby Amos Colby was chairman of the New Hampshire Board of Public Welfare.³

He died in 1965 in Bow.³ He was buried in Alexander Cemetery on River Road, Bow, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.⁴

     Wilma Natalie Colby was born in November 1898 in Chester, Rockingham County, New Hampshire.¹ She was the daughter of William N. Colby and Kate Viola Ramsay.¹

     

Wilmer Babe Colby was not found in these sources: America's Obituaries & Death Notices as of 10/2/2007. He was born on 24 August 1907 in Woods County, Oklahoma.² He was the son of Samuel Edwin Colby and Frances Iowa Ulrich.¹
