P. C. Alexander and Mary A. Alexander were listed as parents on birth record of Edward F. Alexander on 4 September 1850 in Holyoke.4

He died on 17 May 1881 in Easthampton, at age 76 of paralysis. He was a carpenter.8

     S. Judson Alexander was born on 23 June 1837.1 He was the son of Samuel Alexander and Mary Nutt.1 The census of 1850 shows Samuel J. Alexander in the household of Samuel Alexander and Betsey C. Alexander, at Concord, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.2 The census of 1860 shows Samuel J. Alexander in the household of Samuel Alexander and Betsey C. Alexander, at Concord.3

On 10 August 1862 S. Judson Alexander enlisted in the Ninth Regiment, Company B, N.H. Volunteers; and was comminissioned Captain.1 He died on 23 July 1863 in Milldale, Warren County, Mississippi, at age 26 of wounds.1

He married Mary Nutt on 25 March 1825.2 From 1831 to 1838, Samuel lived on Sugar Hill, Hopkinton, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.2

He married Betsey C. ---(?)--- before 1850.3

The census of 1850 shows Samuel Alexander, 50, a farmer with $1200 real estate, and Betsey C. Alexander, 47, listed with Eliza J. Alexander, Mary A. Alexander, James B. Alexander and Samuel J. Alexander living at Concord. Also in the family was a teamster, F. Emerson, 40; three stone masons -- C. Nutting, 24; C. Andrews, 30; and H. Beck, 25; and a laborer, Jonathan Stimpson, 23. All were New Hampshire natives.4

The census of 1860 shows Samuel Alexander, 60, a stone quarrier with $2500 real estate and $600 personal estate, and Betsey C. Alexander, 57, listed with Samuel J. Alexander living at Concord. Also living with them were Emily Paine, 22; and Eliza Paine, 24; both dressmakers from Vermont.5

The census of 1870 shows Samuel Alexander, 70, a farmer, with $3000 real estate and $700 personal estate, and Betsey C. Alexander, 67, keeping house, listed with Juliett Howe living at Concord.3

He died on 12 August 1879 in Concord, at age 80.2

     Sarah R. Alexander was born on 27 May 1834 in New Hampshire.2,3 She was the daughter of Philip C. Alexander and Mary Ann Taylor.1 The census of 1850 shows Sarah R. Alexander, 16, in the household of Philip C. Alexander and Mary A. Alexander, at Holyoke, Hampden County, Massachusetts.3

She married James N. Wright on 16 July 1855 in Holyoke, Hampshire County, Massachusetts, by Rev. Simon Miller.4

She died in 1855.2

     Willoughby Colby Alexander was born on 18 May 1818 in Bow, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.1 He was the son of Enoch Alexander and Meriam Colby.1

He married Sarah Ann Blood on 13 April 1848.2,3

The census of 1850 shows Willoughby Alexander, 32, a farmer with $1500 real estate, and Sarah Alexander, 23, listed with Edmund Alexander living at Bow.4 The census of 1860 shows Willoughby C. Alexander, a farmer with $3200 real estate and $500 personal estate, in the household of Ely Alexander, at Bow.5

The census of 1860 shows Willowby Alexander.

The census of 1870 shows Willowby Alexander, a farmer with $3000 real estate and $1300 personal estate, and Sarah Alexander, keeping house, listed with Edwin G. Alexander, Eli Alexander, Enoch Alexander and Lois P. Alexander living at Bow.6

The census of 1880 shows Williby C. Alexander, a farmer, and Sarah A. Alexander, keeping house, listed with Edwin G. Alexander, Nellie S. Alexander, Frank M. Alexander, George H. Alexander and Bert G. Alexander living at Bow. Also in the household was Freeman Blanchard, 29, from Vermont, who worked in a sawmill.7

He died on 8 April 1884 in Bow, at age 65 of stomach and liver. He was a farmer.8
