He married Lucy D. Peaslee on 24 November 1829 in New Hampshire.⁴

The census of 1850 shows Hazen Colby, 44, a machinist, and Lucy D. Colby, 44, listed with George H. Colby, Lucy A. Colby and Martha J. Colby living at Manchester, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire. Also shown in the household were 16 other people.⁵

In 1860, Hazen Colby was a carpenter.⁶

He died on 19 November 1860 in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts, at age 54 of nephritis.⁶

     Helen Colby was born on 8 July 1932 in Bow, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.² She was the daughter of Frank Edgar Colby Jr. and Hazel Mabel Myers.¹

She married Arthur Cheney on 9 July 1949 in Bow.²

She died on 12 May 2005 in Bow, at age 72.³

     Helen Colby was born about 1931.¹ She is the daughter of Edward Zeon Colby and Irene Smith.¹

     Helen Belle Colby was born on 26 February 1882 in Harris, Chisago County, Minnesota.² She was the daughter of Judson Adnirom Colby and Helen Franklin.¹

She married Thomas Kirkwood Collins on 6 March 1909 in Moorhead, Clay County, Minnesota.² In addition to Helen Irene Collins, they had three other children.

She died on 5 January 1963 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, Utah, at age 80.² She was buried on 12 January 1963 in Great Falls, Cascade County, Montana.²

     Helen Louise Colby was born on 27 December 1881 in 578 E. Broadway, Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts.² She was the daughter of George Hazen Colby and Filena Hurlbutt.¹

She married Charles Owens Haines on 10 January 1890 in Bethlehem, Northampton County, Pennsylvania.²

     Henry Colby was born on 25 March 1863 in Chateaugay, Franklin County, New York.¹ He was the son of Silas W. Colby and Julia Ann Peck.¹

     Henry Hayward Colby was born on 26 January 1922 in Newark, Essex County, New Jersey.² He was the son of Paul Keating Colby and Ida Heafner.¹
