     Emma Lillian Colby was born on 18 February 1863 in Salem, Rockingham County, New Hampshire.² She was the daughter of William Greenleaf Colby and Frances Emeline Dow.¹

     Emma Mae Colby was born on 7 May 1876 in Michigan.² She was the daughter of William Warner Colby and Rosetta Jane Lovejoy.¹

She died on 28 February 1877.³

     Emma Marion Colby was born on 3 February 1927 in Newark, Essex County, New Jersey.² She is the daughter of Paul Keating Colby and Ida Heafner.¹

     Emma Mary Colby was born on 16 April 1849 in Manchester, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire.² She was the daughter of John Ladd Colby and Mary Ann Stuart Tannatt.¹

     Emmeline Colby was born on 30 May 1844 in Bucksport, Hancock County, Maine.² She was the daughter of Samuel Alexander Colby and Mercy M. Hutchings.¹ She died young.³

     

Enoch Colby was a stone mason.³ He was born on 2 July 1790 in Bow, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.³ He was the son of Jonathan Colby and Martha Alexander.^1,2 He appeared on the census of 1 May 1791 in the household of his grandparents, Abraham Colby and Elizabeth Blaisdell, at Bow, Rockingham County, New Hampshire.⁴

He married Polly Bamford on 3 August 1812 in Dunbarton, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.⁵

He married Sarah (Currier) White on 31 May 1849 in Lowell, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.⁶

He died on 15 May 1872 in Tuftonborough, Carroll County, New Hampshire, at age 81.³

     Enoch Colby was born in 1782 in Dunbarton, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.² He was the son of Hezekiah Colby and Sarah Sargent.¹

He married Sarah Senter about 1802 in New Hampshire.²

The census of 1810 shows Enoch Colby, The household had one man and one woman 26 to 44, and four girls under 10, living at Dunbarton.²

The census of 1850 shows Enoch Colby, Enoch was a farmer with $500 real estate. His son Enoch had $300 real estate. His son Benjamin was a laborer with $100 real estate. Also in the household were John Sullivan, 27, a laborer from Ireland; and Mehitable Cole, 75, and Sarah Colby, listed with Enoch Colby and Benjamin Colby living at New Boston, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire.²

     Enoch Colby was born in 1810 in New Boston, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire.¹ He was the son of Enoch Colby and Sarah Senter.¹ The census of 1850 shows Enoch Colby in the household of Enoch Colby and Sarah Colby, at New Boston.¹ The census of 1880 shows Enoch Colby, 70, a farmer, in the household of Benjamin Colby and Mary J. (Parker) Colby, at New Boston.²

     Enola Marie Colby was born on 6 September 1870 in Canterbury, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.^2,3 She was the daughter of Lewis Colby and Mary E. Mills.¹

She married John M. Colby, son of Cyrus Colby and Mehitable Brown, on 6 September 1893 in Bow, Merrimack County, New Hampshire, Date was originally shown as August 6. August was crossed out, and Sept. written above it.⁴

She died in 1936.³ She and John M. Colby were buried in Alexander Cemetery on River Road, Bow, Merrimack County, New Hampshire, in the same plot with Mary E. Mills.⁵

     Er Colby was born on 11 January 1719/20 in Amesbury, Essex County, Massachusetts.¹ He was the son of Theophilus Colby and Elizabeth Harvey.

     Erie Colby was born on 6 June 1823 in the Bog District, Bow, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.¹ He was the son of Williby Colby and Betsey M. Morgan.¹
As of 1846, Erie lived at Minnesota.²

He married Elizabeth B. Lewis on 13 December 1848 in Minnesota.²
As of 1895, Erie lived at South Dakota.²

He died on 18 April 1907 in Brookings County, South Dakota, at age 83.³

     Ernest Frank Colby was born on 1 May 1883 in Concord, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.¹ He was the son of Henry A. Colby and Georgia A. Page.¹

     Ernest Symmes Colby was born on 20 March 1880 in Gardner, Worcester County, Massachusetts.³ He was the son of Edwin Alonzo Colby and Mary Ella Symmes.^1,2

He married Clara Alvinia Canzlier on 8 October 1914 in Hood River, Hood River County, Oregon.⁴
As of 1930, Ernest and Clara lived at Hood River.⁴

He died on 13 December 1958 in Portland, Multnomah County, Oregon, at age 78.⁴

     Ernest Symmes Colby was born on 13 December 1917 in Hood River, Hood River County, Oregon.² He was the son of Ernest Symmes Colby and Clara Alvinia Canzlier.¹ He lived with Ernest Symmes Colby and Clara Alvinia Canzlier in 1930 at Hood River.¹

He married Helen Scott in the early 1940s.²

He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II. He was an electrician for W.R. Grasle Co. and lived in the Portland area most of his life.²

He married Esther Harrison in 1994, as his second wife.²

He died on 8 May 2003 in Portland, Multnomah County, Oregon, at age 85.² His funeral was on 14 May 2003 at St. Luke Lutheran Church, Portland, Multnomah County, Oregon. Survivors included his wife; daughters, Jane DeMatteo, Bette Talmage and Barbara Colby; stepdaughters, Elois Macdonald, Elaine Harrison, Edna Porter and Elizabeth Meyer; stepson, Steven Harrison; 17 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
