     Bruce Adams Colby was born on 25 March 1941 in Pawtucket, Providence County, Rhode Island.³ He was the son of Gordon Leonard Colby and Dorothy Amanda Brierley.^1,2

He died on 8 October 1993 in North Kingston, Washington County, Rhode Island, at age 52.³ He was buried in Oak Grove Cemetery, Pawtucket, Providence County, Rhode Island.²

     Bruce Harting Colby was born on 15 September 1921.¹ He was the son of George Byron Colby and Lena May Huyck.¹

He died on 14 February 1994 at age 72.¹

     Bruce Ronald Colby was born on 7 August 1908 in Minnesota.¹ He was the son of Charles Moses Colby and Clara Belle Nichols.¹

     Byrnon Charles Colby was born on 7 August 1908 in Minnesota.¹ He was the son of Charles Moses Colby and Clara Belle Nichols.¹

He died in April 1970 in Minnesota at age 61.¹

     Byron Colby was born on 11 March 1856 in Hooksett, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.² He was the son of Alvah Colby and Lucinda Hackett.¹

He died in 1860 in Hooksett.³

     Byron Edmund Colby was born on 24 July 1896 in Bucksport, Hancock County, Maine.¹ He was the son of Walter E. Colby and Martha A. Gott.¹ The census of 1900 shows Byron E. Colby, 3, in the household of Walter E. Colby and Martha A. Colby, at Bucksport.²

He married Rachel Potter about 1917.¹

He died on 17 August 1979 in Bucksport, at age 83.³ He was buried in Hillside Cemetery, Bucksport, Hancock County, Maine.¹

     C. Walter Colby was born on 5 November 1916 in Syracuse, Onondaga County, New York.¹ He was the son of Rosco John Colby and Ella Hourihan.¹

He married Virginia B. Southworth about 1942 in New York.¹

He died on 24 February 2001 in Fletcher Allen Health Care, Burlington, Chittenden County, Vermont, at age 84.¹

     Caleb Austin Colby was born on 17 May 1827 in Bow, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.² He was the son of Jesse Colby and Sally Persis Austin.¹ The census of 1850 shows Caleb A. Colby, a farmer, in the household of Jesse Colby and Sally Colby, at Bow.³

He married Julia A. Colby, daughter of James Colby and Eliza Taggart, on 7 July 1853 in Bow, . They were third cousins. His first and second wives were 2nd cousins of each other.⁴ He and Julia Ann Colby were divorced.⁵

He married Abby M. Short, daughter of William P. Short and Selenda McCawley Colby, in 1879 . They were third cousins. His first and second wives were 2nd cousins of each other.⁵

The census of 1880 shows Caleb A. Colby, 53, a farmer, and Abby M. Colby, wife, 37, keeping house, listed with James E. Colby and Addie L. Colby living at Bow.⁶
As of 1896, Caleb lived at Derry, Rockingham County, New Hampshire.⁵ On 23 June 1900, The Derry Times of Derry, NH reported that the fire department was called out at 2 o'clock for a fire in Caleb A. Colby's box mill. The department made good time and saved the property from complete destruction, confining the flames to the boiler and engine room, where they originated.⁵

He died in 1905 in Bow.⁵ He and Abbie M. Short were buried in Alexander Cemetery on River Road, Bow, Merrimack County, New Hampshire, in the same plot with Addie L. Colby and Frank Henry Colby.⁷

     Caleb S. Colby was born on 12 February 1839 in Dunbarton, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.^1,2 He was the son of Capt. Sargent Colby and Ruth Ann Colby.¹ The census of 1850 shows Caleb S. Colby, 11, at school, in the household of Sargent Colby and Ruth Colby, at Dunbarton.³

He married Olivia D. Emerson on 24 December 1858 in Salisbury, Merrimack County, New Hampshire, The marriage intention was published Dec. 26, 1857.²

He married Sarah J. Emerson on 6 August 1865 in Salisbury, Their intention was recorded on August 5.² His residence was Andover, N. H. at the time of his marriage to Sarah.²

The census of 1880 shows Caleb S. Colby, a store clerk, and Jennie Colby, listed with Arthur W. Colby, Grace Colby and Belle Colby living at Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota.⁴

The census of 1900 shows Chas. S. Colby and Jennie Colby, listed with William A. Colby, Grace Griffith, Roy Griffith, Belle Haywood and Martin Haywood living at Minneapolis.⁵

     Calvin Colby was born on 24 November 1810 in Hebron, Grafton County, New Hampshire.² He was the son of Ruben Colby and Sarah Ball.¹

He married Nancy Gale in 1832 in Alexandria, Grafton County, New Hampshire.^3,4

The census of 1850 shows Calvin Colby, Calvin was a farmer with $500 real estate, and Nancy Colby, listed with Emeline Colby and Lavina Colby living at Hebron.⁴

The census of 1880 shows Calvin Colby, Calvin was a farm laborer on the farm of Edmund W. and Rachel P. George, living at Hebron.⁵

He died on 19 December 1903 in Hebron, at age 93.⁶

     Carl M. Colby was born on 27 October 1879 in Concord, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.³ He was the son of Milton Colby and Cynthia Ella Bickford.^1,2

He married Mary L. Goodwin on 24 June 1900 in New Hampshire.⁴

He died on 6 February 1966 in San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas, at age 86.²

     Carleton E. Colby was born on 5 April 1881 in Waltham, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.² He was the son of James Waldo Colby and Ella May Moore.¹

He married Jennie L. Fitch about 1905.³

He died on 23 July 1937 in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois, at age 56.³
