     Anna Colby was born Aug 17 or 19, 1747 in Amesbury, Essex County, Massachusetts.3 She was the daughter of Abraham Colby and Elizabeth Blaisdell.1,2 She was baptized on 22 May 1748 in First Church, Amesbury, Essex County, Massachusetts.2

She married Stephen Eastman in 1767 in Newton, Rockingham County, New Hampshire.3,4
As of before 1778, Anna and Stephen lived at Newton.5 In 1778, Anna and Stephen bought the farm at the northerly base of Wood Hill, in Bow, Merrimack County, New Hampshire,, opposite the junction of the Hammond road with the main road.5 In 1806, Anna and Stephen sold farm in Bow, and removed to Billemead, now Sutton, VT. Their descendants resided in Wheelock, Sutton, Lyndon, and Charlestown, VT, and in Milton, NH.5

Annie Frances Colby was a teacher in Gonic, Franklin, and Bow, NH, as well as School District Treasurer, Town Librarian, and Tax Collector.2 She was born on 28 March 1888 in Bow, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.1,2 She was the daughter of Frank Edgar Colby M.D. and Caroline Priscilla Dubia.1 The census of 1900 shows Annie F. Colby, 12, at school, in the household of Frank E. Colby and Caroline Colby, at Bow.3

She married John Webster Foote.4

From 1923 to 18 September 1962, Annie Frances Colby was Bow's first female Town Clerk.2

She died on 18 September 1962 in Bow, at age 74.4

     Anthon W. Colby was born on 7 December 1850 in Andover, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.1,2 He was the son of Harrison Colby and Judith Elkins Whitcher.1
As of from 1865 to 1869, Anthon lived at Vineland, Cumberland County, New Jersey.3 Fall of 1869 , Anthon W. Colby moved to at Bow, Merrimack County, New Hampshire, to care for his aged parents, who had sold the Potter Place farm in Andover and returned to their native town to end their days.3 From 1870 to 1878, Anthon W. Colby carried the mail from Concord to Dunbarton and Bow. He was the first postmaster at Bow Mills.4,5

He married Jessie L. Brown on 28 August 1873 in Bow.6

The census of 1880 shows Anthen W. Colby, Anthen was a mail carrier, and Jessie L. Colby, listed with Eva Mary Colby living at Bow.7 In 1888, Anthon W. Colby began employment at the State House in Concord, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.4

He died on 26 March 1897 in Bow, at age 46.3 He and Jessie L. Brown were buried in Evans (North) Cemetery on White Rock Hill Rd, by Turee Pond, Bow, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.8

     Anthony Colby was baptized on 8 September 1605 in Horbling, Lincolnshire, England.1 He was the son of Thomas Colby and Anne Jackson.1
As of 1630, Anthony lived at Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts, 'A church member, and probably came with Winthrop.'
As of 1632, Anthony lived at Cambridge, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, May have been here.

He married Susanna ---(?)--- in 1631/32 in Boston.1 He was made freeman on 14 May 1634.
As of 1637, Anthony lived at Ipswich, Essex County, Massachusetts.
As of between 1640 and 1643, Anthony lived at Salisbury and Amesbury, Essex County, Massachusetts, Farmer. Received land in the 'first division' in 1640 and '43. Was one of the first commoners of Amesbury.
As of 1654, Anthony lived at West of the Powow River, Amesbury, Essex County, Massachusetts, Thomas Macy sold him a house.

He died on 1 February 1661 at age 55.2
