He married Susie Tilton Hoyt on 5 March 1899 in Bow.4

He died in 1962 in Bow.2 He and Susan H. Colby were buried in Evans (North) Cemetery on White Rock Hill Rd, by Turee Pond, Bow, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.5

     Alvah Colby was born on 14 October 1804 in Manchester, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire.1 He was the son of Clark C. Colby and Susanna Morse.

He married Lucinda Hackett in 1824 in Hooksett, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.

He married before 9 January 1825.

The census of 1850 shows Alvah Colby, Alvah was a farmer with $1,000 real estate. His son Henry was a blacksmith, and Lucinda Colby, listed with Henry Colby, Eliza Colby, Mary S. Colby, Emily A. Colby, Abigail Colby, Alfred Colby and Laura J. Colby living at Hooksett.1 In 1872, Alvah lived on the road leading from Goffstown to Grasmere where his son Alfred after resided, Goffstown, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire. In the week ending on 25 June 1879, Alvah Colby bought land in Hooksett, from Alvah Colby for $330.2 The census of 1880 shows Alvah Colby in the household of Alfred Colby and Adaline Colby, at Goffstown, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire.3

He died on 3 April 1896 in Goffstown, at age 91.

     Amos Colby was born on 22 April 1834 in the Bog District, Bow, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.1 He was the son of Williby Colby and Betsey Wheeler.1 The census of 1850 shows Amos Colby in the household of Willoughby Colby and Betsey Colby, at Bow, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.2 In 1856, Amos Colby moved to Brownsdale, Mower County, Minnesota He took a homestead near Brownsdale, and it was his home as long as he lived. It proved to be a lonely life with no one living within many miles.3

He married Mary E. Stevens on 26 December 1867 in Bow.4

The census of 1880 shows Amos Colbey, a farmer, and Mary Colbey, listed with Irad A. Colbey, Charles M. Colbey, George W. Colbey and Anna May Colbey living at Waltham, Mower County, Minnesota.5

He died on 13 May 1907 in Brownsdale, at age 73.6

In 1870, Amos Colby was a pump maker. He died on 12 November 1870 in Lowell, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, at age 54 of heart disease.4 He was buried in Edson Cemetery, Lowell, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.3

     Angie Dell Colby was born on 15 February 1851 in Manchester, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire.1 She was the daughter of Lorenzo Colby and Esther Emerson Harvey.1 The census of 1880 shows Della Colby in the household of Lorenzo Colby and Esta Colby, at Grand Rapids, Kent County, Michigan.2

She married Wolcott Kendall in 1882.3 She lived with Wolcott Kendall after 1882 at Grand Rapids.3

She married David V. Hartman in 1967 in Oklahoma.3 She was mentioned in the obituary of Verlyn Colby on 22 September 2005.4
