She married George H. Tirrell, son of Henry Johnson Tirrell and Lucretia P. Colby, on 6 December 1878 in Manchester, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire.2

She died on 11 October 1914 in Hill, Merrimack County, New Hampshire, at age 62.2

     Hannah Clark was born on 9 May 1735 in Topsfield, Essex County, Massachusetts, daughter of Jacob and Mary (Howlett) Clark of Boxford.1

She married Benjamin Perley, son of Jacob Perley Jr. and Sarah Morse, on 2 January 1759 . They joined the First Church, Boxford, 10 Jan 1762.1

She died about 1772.1

     Helen Maria Grover Clark was born on 26 September 1858 in Gloucester, Essex County, Massachusetts, daughter of George and Elizabeth K. (Tucker) Clark.1,2

In 1880, Helen Maria Grover Clark was a traveller.2

She married John E. Thurston, son of Daniel Holt Thurston and Jane Drown Shackley, on 25 March 1880 in Gloucester, by J. S. Thomson, clergyman.2

The census of 1880 shows John Thurston, a cookie salesman, and Hellen W. Thurston, listed with Daniel W. Thurston living at Cambridge, Middlesex County, Massachusetts. They had an Irish servant, Mary King, 20.3

The census of 1920 shows John E. Thurston, head, renter, 66, manager of a wholesale fish business, and Helen M. Thurston, wife, 61 living at 9 Belvoir Road, Milton, Norfolk County, Massachusetts.4

James Alfred Clark1

     James Alfred Clark was born in June 1800 in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England, . His mother's maiden name was Green.1

James Alfred Clark was a weaver and stocking maker. He came for the purpose of setting up machinery for the lace factory, which then was in the house that, in 1906, was the palatial home of Joseph Ross on High street.1

He married Catherine Rust, daughter of Nathaniel Rust and Judith Perley, on 21 January 1824 in Ipswich, Essex County, Massachusetts.1

He died on 7 May 1862 in Hatteras Inlet at age 61, a patriot soldier in the Rebellion War, having enlisted in Co. I, 23d Infantry, 28 Sep 1861.2
