He married Molly Moulton on 18 July 1780 in Brookfield.³ He and Lydia Hale published their marriage intention on 23 May 1796 in Brookfield.³

He died on 7 July 1807 in Brookfield, widower of Molly, at age 53 [G.S. 3].⁴
