He married Diana Shippee on 7 January 1837.7

Between 1855 and 1871, George Cary was a farmer.8,9,10

He married Dordana Shippee on 1 November 1855 in Colrain, by Horatio Hagy.9

He died on 10 July 1871 in Colrain, at age 59 of cancer.10

In 1896, George Walter Cary was a farmer.4

He married Edith M. Clark on 30 December 1896 in Sunderland, Franklin County, Massachusetts, by E. P Bycker, pastor of the Sunderland Cong. Church.4

The census of 1900 shows Georgie W. Cary, 27, a farmer, and Edith M. Cary, 25, listed with Ruth C. Cary, Mina L. Cary and Dordana Cary living at Colrain. Also in the household was a servant, Byron L. Dunnell, 19, a farm laborer.5

In 1910, George Walter Cary was a machinist.6

He married Sarah E. Avery on 6 January 1910 in Greenfield, Franklin County, Massachusetts, by Wm. M. Cassidy, a Greenfield clergyman.6
