     Daniel Cary was born on 11 June 1758.2 He was the son of Zachariah Cary and Susanna Bass.1 He was baptized on 30 July 1758 in the Fourth Church of Christ in Bridgewater, now the First Congregational Church, Brockton, Plymouth County, Massachusetts.1

Daniel Cary was a major in militia ; resided for a time on his father's place, owned in 1866 by Rufus P. Kingman ; was one of the selectmen for a number of years, afterwards Justice of the Court of Sessions.3

He married Mehetabel Brett on 14 May 1778 in the Fourth Church of Christ in Bridgewater, now the First Congregational Church, Brockton . (Intention not recorded.).4

He was baptized on 21 March 1790 in the Fourth Church of Christ in Bridgewater, now the First Congregational Church, Brockton, Plymouth County, Massachusetts.2

He married Martha Howard on 2 April 1812.3

Mr. Cary injured his hip while at work on Dr. Bradford Wales's house, at Randolph, in Sep 1830. As of 1866, he was quite infirm.3

He died on 4 July 1869.1

In 1851, David Cary was a farmer.6

He died on 12 February 1906 in Colrain, at age 88 of pneumonia with senility. David was a farmer.7 He was buried on 14 February 1906 in Branch Cemetery, Colrain, Franklin County, Massachusetts.7
